Live Video
Broadcasting truth
As part of my 3 years of service at Cedarville's Production Services Group, I was trained to operate cameras, graphics, and directing the daily chapel livestream. Below are some of the livestreams I directed and wanted to highlight.

PSG video crew from ELLIV '24, which I also directed.
Homecoming 2024 Worship Finale
Cedarville Homecoming
I directed and produced this livestream. This was particularly challenging because the unique stage setup limited our camera angles of certain images. We also had to accommodate for different full-screen graphics that occurred occasionally throughout the night. The support of excellent camera operators and my graphics operator made the evening a smooth and fun event and one of my favorite directing performances.

Sam Allberry
Cedarville University Chapel
This chapel was one of my best cutting performances during the message portion of the stream. I was intentional about cutting-on-action and motivated by the direction the speaker was facing, or turning to face.

Ken Ham of Answers in Genesis
Cedarville University Chapel
The highest-profile chapel I have had the privilege to direct. I have always been a big fan of AiG and their content so it was a definite highlight to work on a chapel with Mr. Ham! We tried out a new way of doing picture-in-picture video integration to show both the speaker and his laptop screen, which was crucial to his presentation.

Dr. Thomas White - Cedarville University President
Cedarville University Chapel
I always love getting to direct our president's chapels. It's a fun challenge to balance engaging cutting with the numerous graphical content he includes in his sermons.
"One of your best chapels recently" - my supervisor, Drew Glessner (Video Coordinator at PSG)
“Josh has been a core member of our team for over a year now. He's made himself invaluable, learning every position, investing in the growth of younger team members, and regularly making suggestions that have improved our workflows. He takes constructive criticism in stride, and isn't afraid to offer it sensitively to others. He is a quick learner, has an eye for good video, sound instincts.”
